Beach Activities

Baga beach is well known for the adventure and recreational activities. One might like to take a long, leisure walk in the golden sands or might move to the more open, less crowded areas farther down the beach to the left of the entrance for some sunbathing. Besides, one can enjoy parasailing, water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking and much more. Baga beach is also popular for its spectacular sunsets and fishing. One might also witness the sight of Dolphins some 1–2 km from the shoreline.

Baga beach is famous for the Saturday flea market also known as Saturday night market which provides the tourists with a great shopping experience. The beach is almost always alive with music performances by local musicians.

Water Sports: Parasailing, water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling and kayaking are the water spots one might like to go for. One can also go for jet skiing, motor boat ride, dolphin rides, river cruise or a banana ride. At the end of it all, one might simply like to sit by the beach and relax in one of the many shacks present in the beach.

Ayurvedic Spa : Baga, and in fact Goa itself is famous for the relaxing and benificial ayurvedic messages. The spa sessions, beneficial for various diseases such as migranes, headaches, spinal therapies and so on are well known because they are based on Indian alternate therapy instead of the regular spa.

Shopping in Baga Beach

Baga beach is famous for the Saturday flea market also known as Saturday night market which provides the tourists with a great shopping experience. Mackie’s Night Bazar another shopping experience one would love to go for. Here we have hundreds of stalls with a wide variety of handicrafts, trendy dresses, artificial jewellery and other souvenirs. One would also love to experience the inviting cuisines. Mackie’s Night Bazar is all about soothing music and thousands of lights.


Night Life

Nightlife in Baga, nightlife capital of India, is the liveliest as it is a fusion of the Western with the Goan. Baga has the highest density of nightclubs, pubs, bars and discos anywhere in Goa.

Tito's Bar, one of Goa's most famous discotheques cum bar and restaurant is located right at the Baga beach. Kamaki, Mambo’s, Cafe La Musica, Ivy, Cocktails and Dreams, are the other famous bars in Baga. The newest addition to the Baga Beach scenery is “The Big Tap”, a microbrewery with a large restaurant and a dance floor featuring live music several times a week.
